Meet the Author: Rachel Harrison
Rachel Harrison is the national bestselling author of Black Sheep, Such Sharp Teeth, Cackle, and The Return, which was nominated for a Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in a First Novel. Her short fiction has appeared in Guernica, in Electric Literature’s Recommended Reading, as an Audible Original, and in her debut collection, Bad Dolls. She lives in western New York with her husband and their cat/overlord.
Rachel Harrison has made us cackle, fear such sharp teeth, and cheer for the black sheep. Now she’s back and she’s SO THIRSTY! We’re all huge fans of Rachel’s work and we’re delighted to welcome her back to celebrate the release of her new novel, So Thirsty, her eagerly awaited vampire novel. Two friends on a birthday weekend getaway have a wild night out with a group of mysterious strangers only for it to take a turn for the bloody! The New York Times raves about her books and said “Harrison’s feminist horror novels are some of the most original and entertaining out there.” We completely agree. Come hear Rachel talk about her book with fellow horror author, Emily C. Hughes. We’ll even have a special So Thirsty-themed cocktail!
