Meet the Authors: Jennifer Dugan with Rory Power

Jennifer Dugan is a writer, a geek, and a romantic who writes the kinds of stories she wishes she’d had growing up. She’s the author of the graphic novel Coven, as well as the young adult novels Melt With You, Some Girls Do, Verona Comics, and Hot Dog Girl, which was called “a great, fizzy rom-com” by Entertainment Weekly and “one of the best reads of the year, hands down” by Paste magazine. She lives in upstate New York with her family, their dog, a strange kitten who enjoys wearing sweaters, and an evil cat who is no doubt planning to take over the world.

Rory Power grew up in New England, where she lives and works as a story consultant for TV adaptation. She received a Masters in Prose Fiction from the University of East Anglia, and is the New York Times bestselling author of Wilder Girls, Burn Our Bodies Down, and In a Garden Burning Gold.

We are beyond excited to be hosting two staff favorite authors, Jennifer Dugan and Rory Power! They will be joining us to discuss Jennifer’s newest queer YA psychological thriller, The Last Girls Standing. Perfect for fans of One of Us is Lying and A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, this thriller follows the survivors of a summer camp massacre as they search to uncover the truth of what happened that fateful night, but what they find out might just get them killed. Jennifer will discuss her writing process with Rory, followed by a Q&A and signing.
